Karen Shaw
Gary and Karen Shaw are life -long residents of Cleburne. Karen established the company in 1999 to provide a comfortable home for her own mother and has provided a home for more than one hundred and fifty local and out-of-town residents. Karen is the Director and can be reached at 817-517-3480.
Services Available
The Shaw Homes are in residential neighborhoods and are dedicated to serving the elderly with a place as similar to their own home as possible. The home is set up with a common dining area and living area. All bedrooms are private and all baths are shared by two residents each. Care services for the homes are provided by Senior Support, a local business, which provides all meals, snacks, 24 hour care, and support. Senior Support is owned by Misti Matthews. It is a Personal Assistance Service provider licensed by the State of Texas (PAS License No. 011912). Detailed brochures are available by calling Misti Matthews, 817-487-5966.
Rates and Care Information
All rentals are monthly with no long term contracts. Our rates are available upon request. Discounts are given to couples sharing a room.
We are a private pay company. Veteran benefits and some long-term care insurance can be used to help offset the personal care service fees if the resident qualifies for such benefits.
All benefits available in your home are also available while you are living in our home. Home Health, Therapy, and Hospice services can all be utilized in our homes. These services allow for the freedom to age-in-place.
We have been serving Cleburne since 1999 and have provided services for over 100 residents. If you are looking for a place that is quiet, private, clean & comfortable, where you or your loved one will be loved and pampered, we hope you will consider us.
We strive to provide all the comforts of home. Cable TV is provided in all the bedrooms and the living area. Residents are allowed to decorate their rooms with their own furnishing. If preferred, we can provide a furnished unit at an additional charge.
Locations and Information
Hyde Park Place – This five-bedroom home has four spacious bedrooms and one large master bedroom with a private bath and could accommodate a couple. 812 Hyde Park Boulevard.
Loma Alta Place –Located on a corner lot and has wonderful shaded back porch. 1226 Loma Alta Place
Westhill Home – This home is conveniently located. It features six bedrooms and three bathrooms. It sits on a large fenced yard with an attached sunroom. 1103 West Westhill.
